The Aston Waikiki Sunset (ResortQuest is now Aston) is an excellent property located one block from Waikiki Beach and is a great choice for guests who want to be near the Kapiolani Park and Zoo. The property offers both 1 and 2 bedroom units with a full kitchen, cable TV and high-speed internet access (fee). The 1 bedroom will sleep up to 5 people and the 2 bedrooms will sleep 6 people. There are central laundry facilities located on the property. Guests will enjoy the pool deck area which includes a tennis court and the other amenities such as a hospitality room, internet kiosk, free Wi-Fi service on the 6th floor, sauna and BBQ's. Guests can walk to many shops and restaurants. All units are non-smoking. The property will be renovating 312 units beginning in January, 2009 with a scheduled completion in May, 2010. The renovations will occur in phases and will include new colors, new lighting fixtures, re-designed kitchens with granite countertops and new appliances, new furniture, Hawaiian-themed artwork, new 32" LCD HD TV and new energy-efficient air conditioning units that shut off when guests leave the unit. The property will be minimizing guests inconvenience by designating buffer zones above and below the floors being worked on to reduce noise. The renovation work will be done Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-5:00PM. As of March 5, 2010, all units in all categories have been completely renovated.
